 Diamond Head Nails -2

The diamond head nail is made of super strong 1060 hardened steel and consists of a standard nail head with a diamond-shaped emblem carved. Diamond head nails are much more efficient and more economical than alternative materials (screws) and are reliable against a variety of building materials (especially steel).

Description
Nail fasteners with flat heads are manufactured from steel wire according to ASTM A 510, grade 1060 (UNS 1600) and heat treated to provide a case hardness of 52-55 HRC. The nail has either a chromated finish electrodeposited zinc coating or a mechanically deposited zinc coating compatible with ASTM B 633 type II, SC 1 or ASTM B 695 type 1 class 12. Cured nails are nominally 0.10 inch (0.269 mm) or 0.145 inch (3.66 mm) diameter knurled or smooth shank, nominally 0.245 inch (6.2 mm) diameter head and minimum length 3/4 inch. They are available with 15 degree wire and 21 degree plastic collating strip and 0 degree plastic coil seat.

Features and advantages of diamond head nails
• Compared to screws, diamond head nails are installed at least 50% faster.

• Diamond head nails are manufactured from 1060 hardened steel and are excellent for joining steel - steel, wood - steel, wood - cement. Mainstream nails are made of 1020 - 1030 steel, limited to fastening wood and wood.

Diamond head nails are suitable for commercial construction, but regular nails are best for wooden houses.

Using diamond head nails, contractors, and inspectors, you can follow nails. They know diamond head design, manufacturers, tests necessary to obtain ICC approval.

Diamond Head Nail and Steel Structure
Due to lightweight steel innovation, we needed a new fastener. With the introduction of diamond head nails, builders can tighten OSB boards, plywood, gypsum boards, metal and other siding to lightweight gauge steel in a short time, yet with just a small portion of the cost (screw gun vs. nail gun). Regular nails do not penetrate or hold on the steel.

Recognizing the lightweight steel frame construction of houses and skyscrapers has evolved rapidly due to the efforts of industry associations such as the American Home Iron and Steel Association, American Iron and Steel Association, and Light Weight Steel Engineers Association. Experimental building practice, to one that provides many benefits to the crates. Light gauge steel combined with diamond head nail:

• Stronger
Straight, straight wall results
• Termiticidal properties
• It is nonflammable
• It will not rot.

Benefits of Builder
• Precision - Steel is traditionally manufactured. It is straight at the square corner.

• Wide design range All materials --- steel has the highest strength to weight ratio, makes a stronger and lighter frame, accommodates a wider span and allows for more free space in the building.

• Long-term price stability - Compared to wood, steel prices are much more stable.

• Waste Reduction - Steel studs can be cut to precise length with virtually no waste.

• Dimensional stability - no shrinkage, no corrosion, no warpage.

• There is no possibility of insects or mold damage - steel is termite, carpenter ant, mold proof in nature.

• Improve protection in natural disasters --- Steel withstands hurricanes and earthquakes well.

• Less warranty work - There is no crack of nail pops or dry walls.

Bill owner's profit
• Environmental superiority - Steel is non-toxic, has no allergy, is wasteful, highly recyclable.
• High durability for long periods - No clogged doors or windows, no upright walls or hanging roofs.
• Fire safety - steel will not burn.
• Reduction of premiums - Steel is flame retardant, insurance premiums are lower because of durability due to hurricanes and earthquakes.

Another alternative method of steel construction is screws. Using screws is very time-consuming. Nail placement will be at least 50% faster. The screws are placed one at a time with a screw gun. Gas and air tools are attached to the nails. Saving working hours is a great advantage. In a recent school project, contractors saved about $ 9,000 for workers alone. The diamond head nail has cost competitiveness with alternative fasteners, but the big merit is the mounting method.

Herb Burrows of B2B Industrial Packaging is developing innovative fasteners. Having received the code approval of the International Code Association (ICC), Herb received the necessary approval from the State of California. Herb is the only person with three numbers (numbers ESR 2961, ESR 2962, and ER 3091) approved by the ICC code. Herb sells these nails and awarded the permission of B2B industrial packaging using ICC code approval.
