No matter where you are at home or a car, you just want to feel secure by going out to your business. Unfortunately, when you need to take self-defense measures, there may be times when you need some way to protect yourself and your home and family. There are no doubt shops and websites that offer everything from pistols and shotguns to pepper spray and martial arts courses when checking the various types of SDF weapons and training. If none of these standard methods appeals to you, there are several other suggestions (some are serious and others are not so serious):
- Instead of a pepper spray, please use a can of bees and Hornet spray. Easily available, the effective range is up to 20 feet, but for most Pepper Spray products it is 6 to 8 feet.
- Steel gloves sewn to knuckles. They look harmless, but behave like Blackjack and can be obtained from several different vendors over the Internet. You can also find similar baseball caps. The steel hat is sewn on the cap itself, but I do not know how comfortable it is.
- The can and butane lighter of WD - 40 makes a nice small flame radiator. However, the damage of collateral may be a problem.
- One sharp edge of your credit card can make a fairly efficient (innocent looking) weapon to slash someone at a short distance.
- How to brace a wrist with a sling shot and a golf ball or ball bearing bag. Practicing is necessary to gain the benefit, but if you can actually achieve the goal with a good spear, you can do a lot of damage.
- Hockey stick has many advantages in terms of self defense. It makes very good weapons for something or someone, and if you are carrying around you do not look particularly like it looks.
- For home defense, big dogs or two are excellent choices. Also, if you do not keep big dogs or do not want to, you can also use loop tapes and dog barking CDs.
- Kevlar gloves can provide some protection against knife attacks.
- Some experts recommend biting in the order of a pitbull type bite, preferably an ear or finger bite, rather than a normal bite.
- One of the "unbreakable" umbrellas sold on the Internet provides a way to protect attackers from a distance. If you have seen commuters compete for the status of London subway, you can use umbrellas as offensive weapons.
- To defend your firearms, look at Palm Pistol. It is a single-shot 38-caliber pistol fitting in the palm of your hand. It is designed for disabled people whose elderly and the dexterity of the body are restricted and which was fired by the thumb instead of the index finger. And it is classified as "medical equipment" by the FDA.
- If you are really trying to avoid conflicts, leave money or valuable items on the table near the door or window, and hope the intruder simply "run money and run."
