Type 2 diabetes - an obese-born infant at risk of developing insulin resistance -2

According to a survey reported in July of 2018, Journal of Clinical and Endocrinology Metabolism Babies born with a high age are at risk of insulin resistance, the cause of type 2 diabetes. We have found why the risk of type 2 diabetes is high among older adults at Shanghai Jiao-Tong University in China and several different laboratories in Canada.

For researchers ...

  • 106 A large age of pregnancy (overweight or obese at birth) and
  • (Normal body weight at birth) Suitable pregnancy duration for infants 106.
Larger infants had higher levels of blood insulin and leptin, a hormone that informs the brain when food in the body was fully eaten. For larger infants, the higher the blood sugar level, the higher the amount of insulin, indicating that the body's insulin resistance is high. They also show proinsulin, a molecule that secretes insulin, indicating that insulin is not produced at sufficiently fast pace. This is clearly a beta cell and pancreatic cells responsible for insulin production have not worked efficiently

Low insulin sensitivity causes type 2 diabetes, but due to poor beta cell function of type 1 diabetes. It is proposed that two may be the stage of the same disease. In any case, the mother needs to take care of the weight gain of the baby to prevent the onset of obesity and to give the baby a healthy start.

Like adults, the fetus accumulates fat when exposed to high blood glucose levels. During pregnancy, a condition called gestational diabetes may develop in about 24 to 28 weeks. At this point, the mother's blood sugar level rises and sends high levels of sugar to the unborn child. To prevent the onset of gestational diabetes, women need to maintain a healthy weight before conception and only obtain the amount of pregnancy weights recommended by a doctor or midwife. When gestational diabetes is diagnosed, you can prescribe meals, insulin, or oral medication to manage blood glucose levels.

All pregnant women need to eat healthy diet rich in nutrients ...

  • Many of colorful fruits and vegetables supply vitamins and minerals without adding calories in the sky.
  • Fibers in plant-based foods help to control blood glucose levels by slowing absorption of sugar.
  • Activities such as walking and swimming will also help to ensure that the blood sugar level is not too high
It helps to promote the health of the generation.
